Serves 4
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon canola oil
- turkey bacon – 2 slice
- 2 lb collard greens
- ¼ cup apple cider vinegar
- 2 cups chicken stock
- 2 tsp salt
Method
- Preheat pot to medium high heat
- Add turkey bacon to the pot and allow to cook until it begins to crisp
- Add collard greens to the pot and stir well to evenly coat with the oil and bacon
- Add stock and vinegar to the greens and allow to cook until greens are just cooked.
Note: Greens should still have a crunch to them
